Host teams show no mercy winning all games.

The game in Taranto supposed to be quite interesting. 4th placed Umbertide (7-4) played at the court of fifth ranked Taranto (7-3). Taranto smashed Umbertide 74-51 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Umbertide. The game without a history. Taranto led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Umbertide to just 6 points in third quarter. Taranto dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Umbertide's 22. Taranto forced 29 Umbertide turnovers. American forward Megan Mahoney (183-83, college: Kansas St., agency: LBM Management) fired 22 points and 5 steals for the winners. Lithuanian center Gintare Petronyte (196-89) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. American D'Andra Moss (178-88, college: VCU, agency: Two Points) produced 16 points for lost side. Taranto have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. Umbertide at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Taranto are looking forward to face Orvieto (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Umbertide will have a break next round.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Lucca. Local Lucca (8-3) outscored 6th ranked Priolo (3-8) 83-58. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (189-86, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 7 rebounds. Mery Andrade contributed with 4 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Lucca's coach Mirco Diamanti felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian forward Monika Veselovski (183-77) answered with 15 points and 6 rebounds for Priolo. Lucca maintains third place with 8-3 record behind leader Familia Schio. Priolo at the other side dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Pozzuoli and Orvieto. Lucca will play against Cagliari CUS (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Priolo will play against Pall.Pozzuoli and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 13 Orvieto was defeated by Pozzuoli in a road game 63-54. Chieti beat Cagliari CUS at home 85-71.
