Nazionale A is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 19 rounds left.

The game between third ranked Agrigento (11-6) and eleventh ranked Firenze (8-9) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Agrigento was defeated by Firenze in a tough game in Firenze 64-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Agrigento. Firenze moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Chieti and Casalpusterlengo. Newly promoted Agrigento keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Castelletto. Firenze will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Agrigento will play at home against Reggio Calabr. in Reggio Calabria and is hoping to win this game.
Nazionale A top team - Torino (14-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Recanati (6-11) 74-70. It was a great evening for naturalized Polish power forward Jakub Wojciechowski (210-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Daniele Sandri helped adding 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). At the losing side guard Marco Gnaccarini (185-81) responded with 21 points and 4 assists. Torino maintains first place with 14-3 record. Recanati at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with San Severo and Mirandola. Torino will play against Perugia (#17) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Recanati will play against Castelletto and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Castelletto between Castelletto and Casalpusterlengo. Fourth ranked Castelletto (11-6) got a very close home victory over 10th ranked Casalpusterlengo (8-9). Castelletto managed to escape with a 2-point win 81-79 on Sunday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It was an exceptional evening for Alexander Simoncelli who led the winners and scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Gianpaolo Ricci came up with 12 points and 9 rebounds for Casalpusterlengo in the defeat. Castelletto moved-up to third place, which they share with Agrigento.
