  SIGAL Prishtina defends the title!
Prishtina 76:74 Trepca
SIGAL Prishtina won thanks to Bozo Barac's a three pointer when there were only 8 seconds left. This is the second title in a row that SIGAL Prishtina is winning.
The game was balanced and Trepca was the team that during most part of the game had a soft lead of 4-5 points. Prishtina's Youth Center was almost full and SIGAL Prishtina's fans, Plisat realized two superb choreographies as well as supported their team until the very last second of the game, thus they were SIGAL Prishtina's sixth player. On the other hand, Trepca tried to ruin SIGAL Prishtina's joy, but at the end it was Bozo Barac who destroyed their dream of winning SIGAL Prishtina.
Party and celebrations continued until the 5:30 in the morning. Plisat spread out some T-shirt's whose motto was "Glory belongs to us". SIGAL Prishtina will organize an official ceremony today, where they will meet their fans closely.

  Sigal Prishtina wins the championship!
Sigal Prishtina has won the Superleague title with the 76-73 victory over Mabetex in Game 4 of the Play-off finals. The contest between the domestic coach Arben Krasniqi and the imported Croatian Boris Kurtovic ended with the triumph of the first, who has already earned this season’s Cup and the Supercup 2004/2005.

The captain Edmond Azemi reached 15 points, while Hall and Ademi added 27 together for the third consecutive win of their team. Smith and Haxhija scored 15 points each, but could not keep up their team’s advantage. Despite some errors in the third quarter, Prishtina played an excellent game in both ends and deserved the fourth title in the Kosovar National League.

In behalf of Eurobasket I wish all the basketball players, coaches and fans happy summer vacations. I am sure Kosova fans will be ready for the new season to start hopefully with more domestic players and coaches in the league, but for sure with higher quality.

  Sigal Prishtina won Kosovo Cup
Habib Ademi (204-C-70, college: S.Indiana) and Besim Tafilaj (198-F-80, college: Texas) have proved the domination of the domestic players in Kosova’s competitions, while they pushed their team, Sigal Prishtina, to the victory over Peja (71-84) in Kosova Cup final match.
After the equilibrium throughout the first three quarters, Prishtina overwhelmed Peja in the fourth quarter making a big turn in the game. A good defensive play by the capital boys opened the way to an efficient run, which turned to be a 13-point lead for them. Ryan Sears had the command of the team as a guard, while Besim Tafilaj (198-F-80, college: Texas) took care of an excellent defense and important shots. In the meantime, Habib Ademi and Ersid Luca were the big players who ruled the paint in both defensive and offensive end.
On the other hand, Peja’s Macedonian guards Hadjibulic and Mirakovski could not cope with Sigal Prishtina’s persistence in holding the trophy for another year. The guests had built a team with a variety of players with experienced players and youngsters that are rising day-to-day. They have won all the possible trophies for the season: the Supercup, the November tournament, and finally the National Cup.
Only a few days remain before the Superleague play-offs and Peja will face Vllaznimi in the quarter-finals. Sigal Prishtina who achieved the second place in the regular season will advance directly to semi-finals.
