Sigal Prishtina continued its domination in Kosovan basketball. They swept Peja with perfect 3-0 in the Finals and defended the Superleague title. In Game Three, which was played last night, Sigal Prishtina destroyed Peja 104-70. Before that, the team from Prishtina cruised past Peja on the road 74-89 for 2-0 lead. In the first meeting, Sigal made easy 94-78 victory.
Sigal Prishtina was the regular season champion with 26-2 record. They eliminated Trepca in the Semis with 2-0. This title is their sixth in a row. Sigal also was the champion of Kosovo in 2002 and 2003. They also won several National Cup trophies.

The teams from Peja won all of the cups in three competitions in Prishtina - May 8, 2011

KB Peja men's senior and junior teams, and also women basketball team KB Penza have all triumphed in respective finals of Republic of Kosova Cup.
Three final matches were played on Sunday, 08.05.11 in capital of Kosovo, Prishtina.
The first meeting of the day was the final match of Kosovan U-18 Cup at 14:00, were played the junior teams of KB Peja and Sigal Prishtine. During the whole match KB Peja where leading, and at the end they triumphed and got the first Cup of the day for city of Peja. Key players on this win were Arti Hajdari and Ylli Belegu.
On the second match, KB Penza from Peja and KB Bashkimi from Prizren, met for the Final of Women's Kosova Cup. In a very exciting game KB Penza managed to get the Cup, the second of the day for westerns of Kosovo.
The final match of the day was played at 19:00, where Sigal Prishtine and KB Peja fought for the Cup of Republic of Kosovo. Maybe in the not expected way, KB Peja got a high advantage during the game, taking the lead up to 20 points. New players of KB Peja, Demarius Bolds (190-G-84, agency: Basket Law/NM Services, college: Missouri Western) and Justin Dobbins showed great performance on the game and made us know that they are perfectly fit to the team. Bolds, alongside Samir Saptahovic leaded the team to win their first Cup of Kosovo in their history.
So it was a very delightful day for fans of Peja, who took all of the three available Cups, from their rival city Prishtina to their hometown.
