After the KB Prishtina stopped existing and Prishtina BC was established, the biggest reaction came from the KB Prishtina players. The team will no longer exist and the girls dont know what to do! The Prishtina BC officials said that they are not interested to have a women team for now.
One of the best former player, Resmie Juniku, have told the newspapers in Kosovo that she, can not believe that this is happening, regarding the non existence of the best women club in Kosovo history. As the beginning of the season is near, players should find another team and that should be done fast, if the Basketball Federation of Kosovo (FBK) would let them because the transfer window has ended.
One of the most successful womens basketball team in Kosovo, KB Universiteti years ago was part of Trocal league. They went to the semifinals there. Since 2007, they went under KB Prishtina umbrella and at this moment they do not exist as the team.
