Penza has registered its next victory. The ninth in a row. They are the only unbeaten team in the championship. This time the Peja yellows have won a match against Sigal Prishtina as visitors, 63:82. Sigal Prishtina has started well the match with great Irma Konjusha that scored 23 points on the night. The team from the capital of the Kosovo, has won the first half of the game with 42:31, but then in the scene came a Player of the Year, Valbona Bytyqi and turned all in Penzas favor.

She scored 23 points and was assisted by Idrizaj that scored 27 points more to register their 9th victory in a row. Penza, the reigning champions of BKT Womens Liga, will play another hard match against Trepca in the next weekend, while Sigal Prishtinas girls will visit Vellaznimi in Gjakova.

Penza is in the first place of classification table with maximum 18 points from nine games played and are in the great way to repeat last seasons success to win the championship and the cup. Sigal Prishtina is actually in a third position with 5 victories and 4 defeats, with 14 points in total.

Trepca (3-1) recorded its first loss in Peja on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Penza (3-1) 52-40. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Trepca. Penza moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Trepca. Penza is looking forward to face Vellaznimi (#6) in Gjakove in the next round.
