Just after the victory in the last championship match against Drita in Gjilan, Bashkimis officials changed the coach Naser Oskacek. Oskacek was the third coach of orange team in this season, after Sasha Katalinic and Arben Nixha. Because of non satisfying results, the club officials have decided to change the coach again.
Oskacek will be replaced by Montenegrin coach Rejhan Palamar , who has currently been working with Ibar of Rozaje. He made possible for the solid team of Ibar to be promoted in Montenegrin first division, where they will play next season.
In a brief and exclusive talk with Eurobasket yesterday, he said that will try to surprise the upper teams than Bashkimi in Final Four and play-off. End of the season is approaching and to make radical changes in the team is impossible from now on, so we will try to surprise, were the words of objective Palamar. 31 year old coach is looking forward to his first official match with the team. The previous (10-11) season Hamilton was tested by Utah Flash in D-League. In 2009-10 season he was tested by Brooklyn Nets (previous name New Jersey Nets) in NBA. Hamilton has played also professionally in Philippines (San Mig Coffee), USBL (Pennsylvania V) and D-League (Utah F.). He attended University Louisiana at Lafayette until 2005 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
