Penza defends the Cup - Apr 30, 2012

Penza won the first trophy this season. The Peja team was better than Sigal Prishtina in the Cup Finals, which was played last night. It was an exciting meeting and Penza celebrated 81-76 victory at the end. They had 12-point lead during the game (42-30), but Sigal responded with 2-12 run after that. Later it was 64-62 for Penza, whose players shined in the finish to secure the victory and first trophy of the season. Valbona Bytyqi was a key player in Penza with 24 points. Perquku shined at other side with 26 points.
Both teams will now focus to Kosovan league Finals. Penza will have a home court advantage in this series. The Peja team was the regular season champ with impressive 14-0 record. Both Penza and Sigal eliminated their rivals with perfect 2-0 in the Semis.

Sigal Prishtina claim A1 title - 1 month ago

Penza Peja - Sigal Prishtina 69:78 Sigal Prishtina celebrated the A1 title. They edged Penza Peja in the decisive third game of the championship series. Sigal Prishtina therefore defended their title earning the fourth straight League trophy. Sigal Prishtina jumped into the lead early in the game. They maintained the advantage throughout the game. Arbnore Perquku led the visitors as they rallied to the decisive victory in the Finals.   [read more]
