Penza Peja cruises past Sigal Prishtina in Game Two, ties the series - May 13, 2012

Second game of the Kosovan league Finals for women was played last night. Penza Peja quickly recovered from the home loss in Game One and cruised past Sigal Prishtina as a guest 67-82. The score is tied at 1-1 now and Penza Peja will host Game Three. That meeting is scheduled for Wednesday.
As mentioned above, Penza Peja failed at home in the first game. Sigal Prishtina shocked them with 81-86 and it was the first defeat for Penza this season. The Peja team was the regular season champ with impressive 14-0 record. Also, they eliminated Bashkimi with perfect 2-0 in the Finals. Sigal reached the Finals after 2-0 series win against Trepca. Penza already won one trophy this season and it was the Kosovan Cup.

Sigal Prishtina claim A1 title - 1 month ago

Penza Peja - Sigal Prishtina 69:78 Sigal Prishtina celebrated the A1 title. They edged Penza Peja in the decisive third game of the championship series. Sigal Prishtina therefore defended their title earning the fourth straight League trophy. Sigal Prishtina jumped into the lead early in the game. They maintained the advantage throughout the game. Arbnore Perquku led the visitors as they rallied to the decisive victory in the Finals.   [read more]
