Teams of Kosovo will play in Balkan League next year. This is the official note that Basketball Federation of Kosovo (FBK) took from FIBA.
After a visit of Shay Shtricks in Prishtina a month ago, it was said that Sigal Prishtina will take part in the Balkan League this season. But it seems that FIBA thinks differently. And since then FBK has been notified that the teams of Kosovo could take part in the Balkan League since next season as not to disrupt the current season's schedule.
In the letter is also mentioned that Kosovar teams should not use any of national symbols such as anthem, flag etc. and that the participation in that league doesn't mean that the Kosovan basketball is accepted to FIBA and has nothing related with Kosovos political status.

At Ahmet Kandemirs team no one couldnt score double ciphered points, while Akida McLain registered 9, Granit Rugova 8 and Fisnik Rugova 7, on the Karagac court.
The second match of the series will be played in Sigal Prishtinas Pallati i Rinise court this weekend.

With this victory, the team coached by Ahmet Kandemir has achieved the finals where they will play against league leaders Peja, that has a homa advantage in a series.
Peja has reached the final of the BKT Superleague Play-Off after beating this seasons surprise team, RTV 21.
With a great play from Samir Shaptahovic (174-PG-81) and Dardan Berisha the league leaders have reached the final.
They beat RTV 21 with a great play in the second half, while Samir Shaptahovic scored incredible nine three pointers to break every hope of Teleboys for Game 3.
