    Samir Zekiqi
Samir Zekiqi (202-F-95) had a very impressive game in the last round for Trepca, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 21-year old player was the main contributor (21 points, three rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Vellaznimi (#7, 2-13) with 51-point margin 107-56. Trepca maintains the 4th position in Kosovan SuperLeague. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Trepca will need more victories to improve their 10-5 record. In the team's last game Zekiqi had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Trepca's top player in his first season with the team. Samir Zekiqi averages this season 14.0ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was 23-year old Ergin Grosha (212-C-93) of Ylli. Grosha had a very good evening with a double-double of 14 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Ylli lost that game 72-97 to the higher-ranked Peja (#1, 11-1). Ylli managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-8 record. Grosha is a newcomer at Ylli, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Trepca's star - American center Kiel Turpin (213-C-89, agency: Three Eye Sports). Turpin scored 18 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was another key player of Trepca, helping his team with a 107-56 easy win against the lower-ranked Vellaznimi (#7, 2-13). Trepca needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 5 lost games. The season just started for Turpin as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.

Other top performing players last week:
    4. Noah Dahlman (201-F-89) of Peja - 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists
    5. Ermir Gashi (200-F/C-97) of Kerasan - 19 points and 2 rebounds
    6. Altin Morina (194-PG-94) of Rahoveci - 22 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists
    7. Artin Gashi (203-F-93) of Rahoveci - 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
    8. Kevin Brown (190-G-92) of Ylli - 27 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists
    9. Besnik Sharku (203-C-89) of Rahoveci - 12 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
    10. Mikaile Tmusic (188-G-93) of Bashkimi - 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
    The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
