A1 is at the halfway of the Second Stage and there are still another 5 rounds left.

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Mitrovice. Leader Sigal Prishtina faced 3rd placed Trepca. Guests from Prishtine (5-0) smashed host Trepca (3-2) 71-40. Undefeated Sigal Prishtina have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 5-0 record. Trepca at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. Sigal Prishtina are looking forward to face Vellaznimi (#6) in Gjakove in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Trepca will play at home against Bashkimi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Vellaznimi (0-5) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 78-30 loss to second ranked Penza (4-1) in Gjakove. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. The victory was the third consecutive win for Penza. They maintain second place with 4-1 record behind leader Drita Gjilan. Vellaznimi lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Penza will play against Kosova (#5) in Vushtrri in the next round. Vellaznimi will play at home against the league's leader Sigal Prishtina and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last game of round 5 Kosova was crushed by Bashkimi in Prizren 69-42.

Bashkimi - Kosova 69-42

Everything could happen in Prizren at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Bashkimi and 5th ranked Kosova had identical 1-3 record. This time Bashkimi used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Vushtrri 69-42. Bashkimi maintains fourth place with 2-3 record. Kosova at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. Bashkimi will play against higher ranked Trepca (#3) in Mitrovice in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kosova will play at home against the league's second-placed Penza to get more than just one victory in their record.

Trepca (3-1) recorded its first loss in Peja on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Penza (3-1) 52-40. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Trepca.
