    Hajrizi
The games are now more important than at the beginning of the Regular Season. We may still expect few shocking results in upcoming 4 rounds.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Prishtina: Sigal Prishtina (#1) and Kerasan (#8). Kerasan was smashed at home by 53 points 71-124 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 124-71. Sigal Prishtina shot 60.8 percent from the field. Sigal Prishtina outrebounded Kerasan 44-26 including a 37-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Drilon Hajrizi (203-91) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Mike Moser (203-90, college: Oregon) who added 21 points and 18 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Gent Shala (197-98) with 19 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sigal Prishtina have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 18-3 record. Kerasan lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Sigal Prishtina are looking forward to face Peja (#3) in Peje in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kerasan will play at home against Peja (#3) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Trepca (16-8) against fourth ranked Peja (16-3) on Saturday night. Visiting Trepca was crushed by Peja in Peje 109-86. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Trepca. The winners were led by the former international forward Alban Veseli (202-90) who scored that evening 30 points and 6 rebounds and Noah Dahlman supported him with 22 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Peja's coach Aleksandar Todorov felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 16 points, 7 rebounds, 14 assists and 4 steals by American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: Prairie View A&M) did not help to save the game for Trepca. Peja have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Trepca at the other side dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. Peja will play against league's leader Sigal Prishtina on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Trepca will play against Rahoveci and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Gjakove supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Bashkimi (17-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Vellaznimi (2-22). Bashkimi smashed Vellaznimi 121-66 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Justin Black who scored 24 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Beqe Kovaqi who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bashkimi maintains second position with 17-4 record behind leader Sigal Prishtina. Vellaznimi lost twelfth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 22 games lost. Bashkimi will meet at home Xhebrailat (#5) in the next round. Vellaznimi will play against the league's leader Sigal Prishtina and hope to secure a win.

In the last game of round 24 Rahoveci destroyed Ylli on the opponent's court 103-83.

    Ylli - Rahoveci 83-103

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Therande where 5th ranked Xhebrailat (10-13) was crushed by sixth ranked Rahoveci (9-13) 103-83 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Rahoveci. Xhebrailat managed to win fourth quarter 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Xhebrailat 51-32 including a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rahoveci looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Artin Gashi (203-93) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Tyler Deihl (185-91, college: Francis Marion) chipped in 24 points and 5 assists. Rahoveci's coach Jeton Nixha let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American Trae Anderson (196, college: E.Illinois) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and his fellow American import guard Kevin Brown (190-92, college: New Orleans) added 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Four Xhebrailat players scored in double figures. Rahoveci have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Rahoveci maintains sixth position with 9-13 record. Xhebrailat lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 13 games lost. Rahoveci will meet at home higher ranked Trepca (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Xhebrailat will play against the league's second-placed Bashkimi in Prizren and hope to secure a win.
