Taj McCullough (201-F-86, college: Winthrop) left Ironi Kfar Hamaccabia Ramat Gan and arrived to Latvia for two-week tryout in VEF Riga. The 24-year old McCullough appeared 12 times in Israeli top division averaging 13.2 points and 4 rebounds. His team had just one victory and currently is the last ranked in the league.
