We bring you last week's top performances from Latvians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Davis Bertans
Davis Bertans
#1. This week's number one is an international small forward Davis Bertans (203-92, currently plays in Adriatic League), who plays in Serbia. He could not help Partizan (6-2) in their last game. Despite Bertans' very good performance Partizan lost 78-92 in a derby game to the lower-ranked (#4) Zvezda. He was the top scorer with 23 points in 26 minutes on the court. It was Partizan's first loss after four consecutive victories. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Bertans' first year with the team. This season Bertans averages: 7.9ppg, 2.4rpg, 3FGP: 46.2%(12-26) and FT: 75.0% in the eight games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Latvian senior national team.

Janis Strelnieks

Strelnieks' overall stats this year are: 5.0ppg, 1.8rpg, 3.4apg, 2FGP: 41.7%, 3FGP: 29.4%. He is in the roster of the Latvian senior national team.

BC Rakvere Tarvas (5-2) is placed second in the KML. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Laksa's first season with the team. Laksa is currently third on the list of top scorers with 16.6ppg. This year his other stats are: 3.1rpg, 1.4apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 49.1%, 3FGP: 37.5% and FT: 70.4% in the seven games. Laksa played for the Latvian national team nine years ago.
