LBL2 Round 6 (Second Stage): RSU is defeated by Marupe in a derby game - 14 hours ago
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Riga: Marupe (#5) and RSU (#5). RSU was defeated at home 54-69 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The game was mostly controlled by Marupe. RSU managed to win second period 18-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded RSU 51-40 including 42 on the defensive glass. Forward Nauris Metnieks (196-86) had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 r...   [read more]
