The game was mostly controlled by VEF Riga. Barons kvartals managed to win fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 27 personal fouls committed by Barons kvartals helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American-Bulgarian guard Earl Rowland (188-83, college: St.Mary's, CA) who led his team to a victory scoring 10 points and 9 assists. Lithuanian center Antanas Kavaliauskas (207-84, college: Texas A&M, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds.
