Ieva Kublina
HAT-AGRO UNI Gyor (A Division) cut 31-year old Latvian ex-international center Ieva Kublina (193-82, college: Virginia Tech). In 15 A Division games she played this season she averaged 12.8ppg, 6.0rpg (#9 in the league) and 2.2apg. Kublina also played 9 games in Euroleague where she had 11.1ppg, 6.6rpg and 2.2apg.
The last season she played at Cercle Jean Mace Bourges in French LFB. In 47 games last year she had 4.5ppg and 4.3rpg. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. They also played in the cup final.
In 2004 Kublina was drafted by Indiana Fever (WNBA) in third round (31st overall).
She attended Virginia Tech and it is her ninth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Kublina received Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Honorable Mention award in 2011.
She was also a member of Latvian international program for some years. Kublina played for Latvian Senior National Team between 2003 and 2012 and previously for U21 National Team back in 2003. She represented Latvia at the European Championships in Poland two years ago. Her stats at that event were 9 games: 8.3ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.1apg, FGP: 45.2%, 3PT: 38.5%, FT: 77.8%.
Kublina is a very experienced player. She has played also professionally in Czech Rep., Lithuania (VICI Aistes), Russia (Dynamo Moscow), France (Mondeville and Lattes Montpellier), Czech Republic (USK Praha), Hungary (DKSK Miskolc) and Latvia (TTT Riga).

36-year old forward Gunta Basko-Melnbarde (181-F-80) had a great game in the last round for league's best team TTT Riga and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9 (Second Stage). She had the game-high 20 points adding seven rebounds and nine assists for TTT Riga in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Vega 1/Liepaja (#3, 5-7) with 57-point margin 119-62. The Second Stage in NBL just ended. An interesting game for TTT Riga (11-1) which played road game in Liepaja against 3rd placed Vega 1 (5-7). First ranked TTT Riga had an easy win 119-62.
