American guard Pierce Pierce Caldwell (191-88, college: Incarnate Word, agency: Alti Sport), who recently left Ukrainian Kryvbasbasket form Krivoi Rog, has agreed terms with Latvian team of Liepajas Lauvas where he used to play two seasons ago. Caldwell started this season having in 17 games of Ukrainian Superleague 8.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists by game with 23 minutes average on the court. Lets have closer look into Caldwells outlook: Pierce Caldwell is a Pure Shooter, that can play the 1 or 2 Position. Pierce has an understanding of the game that you cant teach. He is good on screen reads, catch and shot as well as off the dribble. His ability to see the entire court allows him to be a threat for many assist and easy team baskets. Pierce is mentally and physically tough minded.

It was a great shooting night for Kalev/Cramo especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. 29 personal fouls committed by TU/Rock helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of U.S. Virgin Islands center Frank Elegar who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and Ty Abbott who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Armands Skele added 13 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Ivan Nelyubov responded with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks and Rain Veideman scored 19 points.

Vitaliy Fridzon (195-G-85, agency: Alti Sport) top-scored for the winners with 15 points and K.C. Rivers (196-G-87, college: Clemson) as well as Zoran Planinic (198-G-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 14 each. Petteri Koponen (194-PG-88) followed them with 12 points in a win.
