Undefeated leader Cesis delivered the fifteenth consecutive win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 10th ranked Rapla KK (3-12) 128-33. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rapla KK. The game without a history. Cesis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Rapla KK to just 0 points in second quarter and to 13 points in first half. Cesis held Rapla KK to an opponent 21.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 58.2 percent accuracy of the winners and made 34-of-42 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game, while Rapla KK only scored three points from the stripe. Cesis forced 26 Rapla KK turnovers and outrebounded them 56-21 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 66.7 percentage. Cesis looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Rapla KK's players. 28 personal fouls committed by Rapla KK helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Dita Liepkalne (185-87, college: Hawaii) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Anda Eibele (170-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Estonian forward Kaia Kosk (177-89, college: E.Kentucky) who recorded 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Undefeated Cesis (15-0) have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 15 victories in a row. Rapla KK at the other side keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

They share the position with TTT Juniores. Cesis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Audentes SG/N. will play at home against Liepajas (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Tartu U. (0-14) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 105-42 loss to second ranked TTT Riga (14-2) in Tartu on Saturday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Dita Rozenberga had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. The best for the losing side was Kaiti Vasiljeva with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Tartu U.'s coach Kaire Asi gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains second position with 14-2 record behind leader Cesis. Loser Tartu U. still closes the standings with 14 games lost. TTT Riga's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Riga Latvijas Universitate.

In the last two games of round 18 Tallina U. was defeated by Liepajas in a road game 78-69. LU was smashed by Tallina U. at home 57-88.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Tallina U.'s (7-8) road loss to fifth ranked Liepajas (10-4) 69-78 on Sunday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 31-15. But Tallina U. won third quarter 20-8. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American center Joncelyn Peterkin (187-89, college: Point Park) had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Sabine Egle (179-91) chipped in 23 points during the contest. Four Liepajas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Estonian guard Pirgit Puu (168-88) with 23 points and 7 assists and Estonian forward Kerttu Jallai (180-90) scored 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Liepajas have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Tallina U. keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Liepajas will meet Audentes SG/N.
