The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Riga: RTU-Merks (#5) and TTT Juniores (#7). TTT Juniores were crushed at home by 22 points 47-69 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game was mostly controlled by RTU-Merks. TTT Juniores managed to win fourth quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. RTU-Merks forced 19 TTT Juniores turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Asnate Fomina (176-94) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Center Daina Lazdeniece (187-89) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners.
