The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Rinalds Sirsnins (186-85) who scored 22 points and 5 assists. American center Todd O'Brien (213-89, college: UAB) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. They were replaced at the leadership position by Jekabpils. Valmiera will play next round against Liepaja trying to make it back to the top of the standings.
