However Cindy Lima (192-C-81), Lyndra Weaver (185-F-87, college: Virginia) and Lisa Willis helped TTT Riga deny the deficit as the visitors entered the second period ahead by one 24:23. TTT Riga started to get away in the second frame. They went on a 14:2 run midway through the stanza to accumulate a 42:27 advantage. TEO managed to clip the distance to 10 points at halftime 35:45. Lisa Willis opened the second half with back-to-back three-pointers as TTT Riga stretched the lead. Renee Montgomery (170-G-86, agency: LBM Management, college: Connecticut) and Rinkevicite kept hopes alive for TEO as they narrowed the deficit back to 10-point mark with one quarter to go.
