Gintare Jasiunskaite, Lithuanian Forward who played the LKKA-Aistes, spoke to Eurobasket.com:
Eurobasket:You are the youngest player of your team and you have a LMKL Bronze Medal now.How does it feel?
Gintare Jasiunskaite:Well it feels very good. It's first season for me in this team and first season in LMKL, so I'm very happy and excited.
Eurobasket:You finished regular season with 18MIN , 4.3PPG , 1.3REB in 24 games.Normally coaches doesn't use young players in rotation.Because they don't trust them. But seems like your coach trusting you. What do you think about that?
Gintare Jasiunskaite:Maybe coach trust in me, because I try to do all my best in training, and during the game.I allways try do everything that he tells.I'm very pleased that he trust and believe in me and I evaluate this.
Eurobasket:What is the hardest thing about playing in LMKL?
Gintare Jasiunskaite:Hmm..I think the hardest thing is to jostle with older womans on the court. Also they have more experience, they are stronger and it's hard to push them sometimes.Every game is very important and hard.
Eurobasket:When did you first realize you had a talent for basketball?
Gintare Jasiunskaite:Well I can't say that I born with very big talent or something... but my all family have played basketball (sister and father still plays it) so I grown up with basketball and from childhood started to love it.
Eurobasket:What do you do to improve your skills?
Gintare Jasiunskaite: I practise almost every day,I know that I want basketball in my life and I know that I have to do to reach it. Sometimes I ask coaches that should I do better in different situations and I try to correct that I do wrong.
Eurobasket:Who is your inspiration?
Gintare Jasiunskaite:Hmm... one of the biggest my inspiration is my sister.A few years ago I really liked Diana Taurasi.Well it's hard to say you know? But my sister is the BEST!
Eurobasket:If you could play one on one against one player, alive or dead, who would it be?
Gintare Jasiunskaite:Ohhh,I always liked and wanted to see Michael Jordan and also Ricky Rubio. Talking about women basketball.I have not decided yet.

Second best performed player last round was Mindaugas Lukauskis (198-G-79) of Lietkabelis. He is former international guard in his first season at Lietkabelis. In the last game Lukauskis recorded impressive 13 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists. It was enough for Lietkabelis to edge Zalgiris (0-1) by 4 points 90-86. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Gytis Sirutavicius (195-F-83) of Juventus. Sirutavicius showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, six rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Juventus, leading his team to a 97-92 win against P.Zvaigzdes (#8, 0-1). Juventus has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Sirutavicius also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Sirutavicius as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
