   #1. This week's number one is an experienced international center Ksistof Lavrinovic (210-79). He led Montepaschi Siena to a victory over the closely-ranked Banco di Sardegna Sassari (19-12) 92-85 in the Italian SerieA in Sunday night's game. Lavrinovic was MVP of the game. He scored 25 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 20 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Montepaschi Siena (23-8) is placed first in the SerieA. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Lavrinovic's fifth season with the team. Lavrinovic has relatively good stats this year: 11.0ppg, 5.4rpg, 2FGP: 58.7%(54-92), 3FGP: 36.4% and FT: 84.2% in the 16 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Lithuanian senior national team.

Lavrinovic was the main contributor in a CSKA Moscow's victory against the leader Unics Kazan (14-2) 74-62 in the VTB United League last Thursday. He was the best player in that game. Lavrinovic recorded 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group B. CSKA Moscow (14-2) is placed first. This season Lavrinovic averages: 8.6ppg, 3.7rpg, 2FGP: 67.6%(23-34), 3FGP: 38.7% and FT: 81.1%. He is in the roster of the Lithuanian senior national team.

The Lithuanian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international guard Ramunas Siskauskas (197-78) is a teammate of previously mentioned Darjus Lavrinovic and both played together in the last VTB United League game. Siskauskas was the major contributor in a CSKA Moscow's victory against the leader Unics Kazan (14-2) 74-62. He recorded 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds (made all of his six free throws) in 21 minutes. Siskauskas has been at the team for five years. This season Siskauskas' overall stats are: 6.7ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.3apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 63.3%(19-30), 3FGP: 39.4% in the 13 games. He played for the Lithuanian national team two years ago.

Center Antanas Kavaliauskas (208-84, agency: Interperformances, college: Texas A&M) contributed to an easy victory against the league leader Siauliai (16-4) 92-75 in the Baltic League in Sunday night's game. Kavaliauskas was the top player that evening. He recorded 24 points. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. VEF Riga (0-0) is placed in the Baltic League. Kavaliauskas has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 15.8ppg and 4.2rpg. Kavaliauskas used to play for the Lithuanian university national team back in 2007.

He scored 14 points and added 7 passes in a mere 18 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Panathinaikos Athens (22-2) is placed second in the A1. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. It's Jasikevicius' first season with the team. This year Jasikevicius' total stats are: 8.5ppg and 3.1apg in the 30 games. Gecevicius scored 10 points. Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (23-1) is placed first in the A1. It was his team's 20th consecutive victory in a row. Gecevicius has averaged so far 8.1ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.2apg. He plays currently for the Lithuanian national team.

   #9. International guard Rimantas Kaukenas (192-77, college: Seton Hall) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ksistof Lavrinovic. But that was another game of his team in Italian SerieA which we would like to mention. Kaukenas, who plays in the Italian SerieA could not help Montepaschi Siena (23-8) in their last game. Despite his good performance the league leader Montepaschi Siena lost 69-78 on the road to the lower-ranked (#6) CS Bologna. Kaukenas scored 11 points in 20 minutes. This year Kaukenas has relatively solid stats: 11.1ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.5apg in the 11 games. He is also in the roster of the Lithuanian national team.

   #10. Small forward Simas Jasaitis (201-82) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Trabzonspor (6-24) crushing them 103-81 in the Turkish TBL in Saturday night's game. Jasaitis was the top player that evening. He scored 22 points, had 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Turk Telekom Ankara (13-17) is placed ninth in the TBL. The Regular Season already ended. Jasaitis has reliable stats this season: 10.1ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.1apg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Lithuanian National Team roster.

   #11. International guard Martynas Pocius (196-86, another player represented by Interperformances, college: Duke) contributed to a 3-point Real Madrid's victory against the 12th-ranked Assignia Manresa 96-93 in the Spanish ACB last Thursday. Pocius recorded 8 points and added 3 assists in only 13 minutes. Pocius has averaged so far 5.9ppg and 1.9rpg in the 30 games. He plays currently for the Lithuanian national team.

   #12. Former international forward Simonas Serapinas (197-82) contributed to a Telekom Baskets' surprising victory against the league leader Brose Baskets 75-74 in the German BBL on Thursday night. Serapinas was the top player that evening. He recorded 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Serapinas has averaged so far 10.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.1apg. He used to play for the Lithuanian national team back in 2004.

   #13. Former University international center Michailis Anisimovas (214-84) helped Budivelnyk win their game against the seventh-ranked BC Odessa 88-73 in the Ukrainian Superleague in Friday night's game. Anisimovas scored 13 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 22 minutes. Anisimovas' stats this year are: 10.3ppg and 3.7rpg in the 45 games. Despite he played previously for the Ukrainian national team, Anisimovas is currently in the Lithuanian university national team roster.

   #14. Former international power forward Tautvydas Lydeka (208-83) helped Scavolini Pesaro win their game against the 13th-ranked Lottomatica Roma 82-75 in the Italian SerieA last Wednesday. He scored 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Lydeka has averaged so far 7.9ppg and 5.0rpg. Despite he played previously for the Ukrainian national team, Lydeka is currently in the Lithuanian national team roster.

   #15. Former international guard Giedrius Gustas (190-80, another player represented by Interperformances) helped PGE Turow win their game against the fourth-ranked Anwil 96-92 in the Polish PLK on Monday night. He recorded 11 points and added 4 passes in 25 minutes. Gustas has averaged so far 7.2ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.6apg in the 37 games. Despite he played previously for the Ukrainian national team, Gustas is currently in the Lithuanian national team roster.

Nevezis Kedainiai (LKL) landed 24-year old American point guard Daiquan Walker (188-84kg-93, college: Cent.Florida). He started the season at Etha in Cypriot Division A. In 14 games he averaged 13.6ppg, 2.9rpg and 3.0apg this season. The previous (12-13) season Walker played at another team Golden Knights in U.S. semi-pro league NCAA1 where in 31 games he had 4.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.6apg. Neptunas Klaipeda (LKL) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old American shooting guard Daniel Ewing (191-83, college: Duke, agency: Stealth Sport). It is actually his comeback to Klaipeda as he has played here before. Ewing started the season at Maccabi Ashdod in Israeli Winner League. In 19 games he had 9.5ppg, 2.2rpg, 4.5apg and 1.6spg this season. Ewing helped them to make it to the Israeli Cup Semifinals.
