The Lithuanian Guard will not join the team this summer for health reasons. Ausra Bimbaite spent last season with Dynamo Kursk (Russia-PBL, starting five). In EuroCup after 14 games her stats read 11.5ppg, 4.8rpg, 3.3apg, 2.3spg, FGP: 58.2%, 3PT: 43.1%, FT: 81.5%. In Russian League she averaged 8.7ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.9apg, Steals-5 (2.1spg), FGP: 38.7%, 3PT: 23.8%, FT: 80.0%. Together with Dynamo Kursk Ausra Bimbaite became the EuroCup winner for season 2011/12. The Russian squad had 14-point deficit after the first game against Kayseri, but they exploded when it mattered most and blasted visitors with huge 75-52. It was enough for the final 130-121 win after two games. Ausra Bimbaite helped with 14 points, 8 rebs and 6 assists. At the European Championships in Poland -11 after 9 games she showed 11.1ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.8apg, 2.3spg, FGP: 47.2%, 3PT: 28.9%, FT: 77.3%.
