   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Donatas Motiejunas (213-90, agency: Interperformances). He led Asseco Prokom to a victory over the second-ranked Trefl Sopot (6-4) 76-68 in the Polish PLK in Wednesday night's game. Motiejunas was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 11 rebounds in 35 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group A. Asseco Prokom Gdynia (8-2) is placed first. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Motiejunas is ranked sixth on the list of the top scorers in the league with 15.7ppg. He also averaged so far 6.6rpg, 1.4apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 52.1%, 3FGP: 28.6% and FT: 66.7% in the 25 games he played so far. Motiejunas is currently a member of the Lithuanian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an experienced international center Ksistof Lavrinovic (210-79). He was the major contributor in a Montepaschi Siena's victory against the closely-ranked Banco di Sardegna Sassari (20-12) 79-64 in the Italian SerieA last Friday. Lavrinovic scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Montepaschi Siena (24-8) is placed first in the SerieA. It's Lavrinovic's fifth season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 12.1ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.2apg, 2FGP: 63.6%(96-151), 3FGP: 36.4% and FT: 79.7%. Lavrinovic is in the roster of the Lithuanian senior national team.

The Lithuanian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Rimantas Kaukenas (192-77, college: Seton Hall) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ksistof Lavrinovic and both played together in the last Italian SerieA game. Kaukenas contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Banco di Sardegna Sassari (20-12) 79-64. He scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 17 minutes. This year Kaukenas averages: 9.8ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.8apg, 3FGP: 36.4% and FT: 86.8% in the 19 games. He is also a member of the Lithuanian senior national team.

Guard Martynas Pocius (196-86, also represented by Interperformances, college: Duke) contributed to a Real Madrid's victory against the closely-ranked Caja Laboral (23-11) 76-69 in the Spanish ACB in Saturday night's game. Pocius scored 8 points. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Real Madrid (26-8) is placed second in the ACB. Pocius' overall stats this season are: 5.2ppg and 1.7rpg. He is also Lithuanian national team player.

   #5. International guard Sarunas Jasikevicius (192-76, college: Maryland), who plays in the Greek A1 could not help one of league's weakest teams Panathinaikos (22-2) to beat Olympiacos (23-1). Jasikevicius scored only 4 points in 15 minutes. Panathinaikos lost 76-82 in a derby game to the leading Olympiacos. This year Jasikevicius' overall stats are: 8.2ppg and 3.1apg in the 35 games. He plays currently for the Lithuanian national team.

   #6. Guard Martynas Gecevicius (193-88) faced previously mentioned Sarunas Jasikevicius in the Greek A1 last game. Gecevicius managed to help Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus to win against the closely-ranked Panathinaikos (22-2) 82-76 in a derby game. He scored only 2 points. Gecevicius' total stats this season are: 7.7ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.1apg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Lithuanian National Team roster.

   #7. Former international power forward Tautvydas Lydeka (208-83) was not able to help Scavolini Pesaro (19-13) in their game against Armani Milano (22-10) in the Italian SerieA. Lydeka scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 16 minutes. Scavolini Pesaro was badly defeated 84-68 on the road by the second-ranked Armani Milano. This year Lydeka's total stats are: 7.5ppg and 4.6rpg in the 41 games. He used to play for the Lithuanian national team six years ago.

Kuzminskas has averaged so far 3.5ppg and 2.3rpg. He used to play for the Lithuanian national team back in 2004.
