They grabbed a 21:8 lead ten minutes into the game. Germany stopped the rot in the second quarter. They slowed the Baltic team down and cut the deficit at 4-point mark at halftime 33:37. Germany denied the deficit in the third quarter. They posted a 51:50 lead into the fourth frame. Lithuania surged back in front in the fourth period. They accumulated a 65:59 advantage with under three minutes remaining. But Jan Wimberg organized a 7:0 run that he capped with a triple to steal the victory for Germany. Sebastian Schmitt (180-PG-96) knocked down 10 points, while Mahir Agva (202-C-96) added 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Tautvydas Paliukenas (192-SF-96) answered with 24 points for Lithuania. Dominykas Zupkauskas (184-PG-96) had 10 points, 9 assists and 4 boards in defeat.
