Zalgiris suffered a big blow on Tuesday. Tadas Klimavicius (204-F-82, agency: Interperformances) torn ACL and is expected to miss around six months of action now. The doctors confirmed the diagnosis yesterday and Klimavicius would undergo surgery in the upcoming days. It is the second big time blow for Zalgiris after Robertas Javtokas (211-C-80, agency: Interperformances, college: Arizona) was sidelined for what might be the whole season with foot injury. Tadas Klimavicius tallied 5.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in LKL this season. Last season he notched 8.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in Baltic League. In VTB League his stats read 4.4 points, 3.1 rebounds. The forward also posted 2.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in Euroleague. He was named All-Baltic League Player of the Year in 2010. Tadas Klimavicius was the member of Lithuanian National Team in 2010.

Gediminas Orelikas (200-G/F-90) will continue his career in Lietuvos Rytas. The forward has agreed on terms of two-year contract with the Vilnius powerhouse.
