The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Suduva-Mantinga as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Suduva-Mantinga defeated second-ranked Statyba in Marijampole 83-67. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Suduva-Mantinga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Suduva-Mantinga made 7 blocks. Guard Zilvinas Kuklierius (180-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Forward Audrius Mineikis (201-77) contributed with 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Suduva-Mantinga's coach Gintautas Zibuda used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Vitalijus Luksa (206-86) answered with 15 points and 8 rebounds for Statyba. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Mazeikiai and Statyba. Statyba will play next round against Delikatesas trying to get back on the winning streak. Suduva-Mantinga will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Zalgiris-Sabonio in Kaunas. Leading Mazeikiai (8-3) recorded its third loss at the home court. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Dzukija (7-3) 88-86. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Mazeikiai. It was a great evening for forward Povilas Sakinis (199-80) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds. Mindaugas Reminas helped adding 23 points. Forward Osvaldas Macernis (196-82) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Newly promoted Dzukija maintains fifth place with 7-3 record. Mazeikiai at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Suduva-Mantinga and Statyba. Dzukija will play against Triobet (#8) in Jonava in the next round. Mazeikiai will play against Zanavykas (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track. A very close game took place in Jonava between Triobet and Olimpas. Ninth ranked Triobet (6-5) got a very close home victory over 7th ranked Olimpas (6-5). Triobet managed to escape with a 3-point win 80-77 in the game for the eighth place. It was an exceptional evening for Tomas Milinskas who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Audrius Maneikis came up with 24 points for Olimpas in the defeat. Olimpas' coach Alidas Zukauskas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Triobet moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Olimpas. Triobet will meet at home higher ranked Dzukija (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Olimpas will play against Ezerunas-Karys in Moletai and hope to secure a win. The game between fourth ranked Meresta (8-4) and 16th ranked Silute (3-8) in Pakruojis ended with biggest points difference. Meresta outscored guests from Silute 94-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Silute. The best player for the winners was Tomas Gaidamavicius who scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Meresta maintains fourth place with 8-4 record. Silute at the other side dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. Meresta's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Gargzdai-Bremena (#18) on the road which should be another easy win for them. Silute will play against Perlas-MRU (#11) in Vilnius.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 11: Birstono was smashed by Perlas-MRU on the road 90-68. S.Marciulionio destroyed Nafta Universitetas on its own court 88-64. Zalgiris-Sabonio managed to outperform Radviliskis in Kaunas 75-65. Delikatesas was rolled over Zanavykas at home 64-87. Bottom-ranked Gargzdai was defeated by Ezerunas-Karys on the opponent's court 56-47. The most impressive performance of 11th round was 28 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals by Mantas Virbalas of Perlas-MRU.

Gediminas Orelikas (200-G/F-90) will continue his career in Lietuvos Rytas. The forward has agreed on terms of two-year contract with the Vilnius powerhouse. Gediminas Orelikas has played for Rudupis Prienai since 2010. Last season the forward led LKL in scoring posting 16.8 points per game.
