24-year old Mantas Virbalas (203-C/F-88) had an amazing evening in the last round for Perlas-MRU and receives a Eurobasket.com NKL Player of the Week award for round 11. He had a double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed Birstono (#17, 3-9) with 22-point margin 90-68. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on the top of the standings. Perlas-MRU is placed at 11th position in Lithuanian NKL. Perlas-MRU is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. Virbalas turned to be Perlas-MRU's top player in his first season with the team. Virbalas has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 18.1ppg), rebounds (4th best: 8.7rpg) and averages solid 1.9bpg,2.1spg and 65.0% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Edgaras Stanionis (193-G-88) of Zanavykas. He is a guard in his first season at Zanavykas. In the last game Stanionis recorded impressive 37 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he lead Zanavykas to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Delikatesas (#12, 5-6) 87-64. This victory allowed Zanavykas to move up to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 7-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Stanionis is a newcomer at Zanavykas and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.9ppg (#1). He also registered 6.5 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to another Perlas-MRU's star - forward Antanas Udras (202-F-92). Udras scored 23 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Perlas-MRU, helping his team with a 90-68 easy win against the lower-ranked Birstono (#17, 3-9). Perlas-MRU needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 5 lost games. Udras has a great season in Lithuania. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.7ppg (9th best) and rebounds with 9.3rpg (3rd best).
Other top performing players last week: 4. Povilas Sakinis (199-F-80) of Dzukija - 32 points and 10 rebounds 5. Denis Krestinin (202-PF-94) of S.Marciulionio - 17 points and 8 rebounds 6. Tomas Milinskas (202-F-90) of Triobet - 18 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists 7. Benas Bagdonavicius (202-F-91) of Meresta - 18 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists 8. Janas Jurgo (200-F-83) of Radviliskis - 18 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists 9. Zilvinas Kuklierius (180-G-85) of Suduva-Mantinga - 22 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists 10. Audrius Mineikis (201-F-77) of Suduva-Mantinga - 11 points and 11 rebounds

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
