The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Dzukija (11-4) in Vilnius on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by ninth ranked S.Marciulionio (9-6) 77-71. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Dzukija. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-71. S.Marciulionio dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Dzukija's 24. 26 personal fouls committed by Dzukija helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for guard Tomas Rakauskas (183-81) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Giedrius Staniulis (205-91) helped adding 20 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Bryan Harrison (188-84, college: Georgia Coll., agency: Global Sports Plaza) with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. S.Marciulionio maintains ninth place with 9-6 record. Newly promoted Dzukija still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with Mazeikiai. S.Marciulionio are looking forward to face higher ranked Zanavykas (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dzukija will play against Radviliskis and is hoping to win this game.
An interesting game took place in Jonava where 4th placed Meresta (10-6) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Triobet (8-7) 92-83. It was an exceptional evening for forward Martynas Linkevicius (197-85) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Tadas Sebeziovas accounted for 20 points and 5 rebounds. Triobet's coach Kestutis Narusevicius used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Agnius Gurklys (205-88) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for Meresta in the defeat. Triobet moved-up to tenth place. Meresta at the other side dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Triobet will play against Perlas-MRU (#11) in Vilnius in the next round. Meresta will have a break next round.
14th ranked Nafta Universitetas (4-11) was outscored at home by seventh ranked Zanavykas (10-5) with the biggest margin this round 95-65 on Friday night. The best player for the winners was Vilius Sumskis who scored 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Zanavykas' coach Giedrius Zibenas felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Haroldas Venskus who recorded 20 points and 4 assists. Zanavykas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Nafta Universitetas lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Silute and Birstono. Zanavykas will meet at home S.Marciulionio (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Nafta Universitetas will play against Statyba (#7) in Vilnius and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 15: Olimpas won against Radviliskis on the opponent's court 77-69. Suduva-Mantinga outscored Gargzdai in a home game 91-71. Silute was rolled over Delikatesas on the road 93-66. Mazeikiai defeated Perlas-MRU on its own court 72-59. Statyba was beaten by Zalgiris-Sabonio in Kaunas 87-81.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 26 points and 6 rebounds by Darius Tarvydas of Statyba.

Radviliskis trailed by 15 points at halftime and as many as 21 after three quarters before a 27-14 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 69-77 at the end of the game. Olimpas dominated on the defensive end, holding Radviliskis to just 6 points in third quarter. The best player for the winners was forward Julius Kazakauskas (197-90) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Audrius Maneikis (203-84, college: Motlow St. CC) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Olimpas' coach Alidas Zukauskas used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Antanas Montrimavicius (199-87) who recorded 17 points and point guard Laimonas Kutra (185-88) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively. Very predictable result in Marijampole where eighth ranked Suduva-Mantinga (10-5) smashed bottom-ranked Gargzdai-Bremena (2-13) 91-71 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Suduva-Mantinga. Gargzdai-Bremena managed to win third quarter 23-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Gargzdai-Bremena to just 7 points in second quarter. Suduva-Mantinga forced 21 Gargzdai-Bremena turnovers and had a 24-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Suduva-Mantinga especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. There was no surprise in Kaunas where 8th ranked Statyba (10-5) was defeated by sixth ranked Zalgiris-Sabonio (10-5) 87-81 on Thursday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Statyba won fourth quarter 25-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Zalgiris-Sabonio made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was center Arturas Gudaitis (208-93) who scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Tomas Dimsa (195-94) chipped in 20 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Darius Tarvydas (200-91) who recorded 26 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Ovidijus Varanauskas (187-91) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists respectively.
