#1. This week's number one is an experienced international power forward Darius Songaila (204-78, agency: Priority Sports, college: Wake Forest, currently plays in Ukraine), who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague. He could not help BC Donetsk (12-10) in their last game. Despite Songaila's very good performance BC Donetsk lost 56-68 at home to the leading Budivelnyk.
He had a double-double by scoring 28 points and getting 13 rebounds in 34 minutes on the court.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Songaila has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.3ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.8apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 54.5% and FT: 79.7% in the 16 games he played so far.
Songaila is currently a member of the Lithuanian senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international center Antanas Kavaliauskas (207-84, agency: Interperformances, college: Texas A&M, currently plays in Latvia). He led VEF Riga to a victory against the closely-ranked Barons kvartals (8-7) 84-72 in a derby game in the Latvian LBL last Saturday.
Kavaliauskas recorded 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
VEF Riga (9-1) is placed third in the LBL.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial.
Kavaliauskas has relatively good stats this season: 10.8ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 75.0%(36-48) and FT: 66.7%.
He is in the roster of the Lithuanian senior national team.
#3. The Lithuanian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international swingman Jonas Maciulis (199-85, currently plays in Euroleague). Maciulis contributed to a 1-point Panathinaikos' victory against the seventh-ranked Zalgiris (0-1) 67-66 in the Euroleague on Friday night.
He recorded 7 points in 27 minutes.
Panathinaikos Athens (1-1) is placed fifth in group E.
This year Maciulis' overall stats are: 9.3ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 57.4%(27-47), 3FGP: 31.8% and FT: 68.2% in the 12 games.
He is also a member of the Lithuanian senior national team.
#4. Point guard Sarunas Jasikevicius (192-76, college: Maryland, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a Regal FC Barcelona's surprising victory against the league leader Real Madrid (14-1) 96-89 in the Spanish ACB in Sunday night's game.
Jasikevicius scored 7 points and added 4 assists.
Regal FC Barcelona (8-7) is placed ninth in the ACB.
They ended the series of three consecutive loses.
Jasikevicius' total stats this season are: 4.8ppg and 1.1apg.
He is also Lithuanian national team player.
#5. Former U20 international point guard Evaldas Zabas (188-88, currently plays in Czech Republic) helped BK Pardubice win their game against the tenth-ranked Basketbal Svitavy (7-12) 95-86 in the Czech Republic NBL last Saturday.
Zabas recorded 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in 27 minutes.
BK JIP Pardubice (11-6) is placed fourth in the NBL.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
Zabas is ranked fourth on the list of the top scorers in the league with 17.8ppg.
This year he also averages: 3.6rpg, 3.3apg and 1.3spg in the 16 games.

#6. Forward Donatas Zavackas (203-80, college: Pittsburgh, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Antanas Kavaliauskas and both played together in the last Latvian LBL game.
Zavackas helped VEF Riga win their game against the closely-ranked Barons kvartals (8-7) 84-72 in a derby game.
He recorded 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Zavackas' total stats this season are: 9.9ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.4apg.
He is a former U20 international player as he played for the Lithuanian team thirteen years ago.
#7. Former University international center Michailis Anisimovas (214-84, currently plays in Ukraine), who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague was not able to help Budivelnyk (18-6) in their last game. Despite Anisimovas' good performance the league leader Budivelnyk lost 78-87 on the road to the lower-ranked (#3) Azovmash.
He was the second best scorer with 12 points in 21 minutes.
It was Budivelnyk's first loss after six consecutive victories.

It's Anisimovas' fourth season with the team.

The fifth-placed Olympiacos was defeated 82-74 in Vitoria by the second-ranked Caja Laboral in the group F of Euroleague.

#10. Forward Osvaldas Matulionis (200-91, currently plays in Estonia), who plays in the Estonian KML couldn't help KK Parnu (5-8) in their last game. Despite his very good performance KK Parnu lost 63-73 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#4) Valga.
Matulionis was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 8 rebounds, passed 3 assists and added 2 blocks in 38 minutes.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be extremely important.
Matulionis is currently seventh on the league's list of top scorers and also on the list of best blockers (second place).
He has very reliable stats this year: 14.8ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.9apg and 1.2spg in the 12 games.
Matulionis is a former university international player as two years ago he still played for the Lithuanian national team.
#11. Former U20 international forward Povilas Butkevicius (203-87, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) helped Novipiu Casale win their game against the league outsider Aget Service IM 86-78 in the Italian Lega2 (second division) in Sunday night's game.
Butkevicius recorded 13 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 22 minutes.
Butkevicius is currently sixth on the league's list of best rebounders with 8.5rpg.
He also averaged so far 8.4ppg and 1.5spg in the 13 games.

Peciukevicius, who plays in the Estonian KML couldn't help KK Parnu (5-8) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance KK Parnu was defeated 73-63 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Valga (#4).
Peciukevicius was the second best scorer with 16 points. He also added 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists.
This season Peciukevicius has relatively solid stats: 14.1ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.7apg and 1.7spg.

#15. Former U21 international forward Vaidotas Pridotkas (200-84, currently plays in France), who plays in the French ProB (second division) couldn't help Charleville-Mezieres (6-8) in their last game. Despite Pridotkas' very good performance Charleville-Mezieres lost 105-113 in Boulogne to the higher-ranked (#6) SO Maritime.
He scored 19 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 25 minutes.
Pridotkas has reliable stats this year: 13.1ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.1apg in the 17 games.
He used to play for the Lithuanian U21 national team
eight years ago.

Despite Veikalas' good performance Telekom Baskets was edged 96-94 at home by the higher-ranked Walter Tigers (#12).
He scored 13 points.
Veikalas has averaged so far 9.9ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.2apg.
#2.Nik Stauskas (198-G-93, currently plays college basketball in the States) led Michigan to an easy victory against the Central Michigan University 88-73 in the NCAA on Saturday night.
He recorded 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
The University of Michigan has 1-0 conference record this season.
This year Stauskas has relatively solid stats: 14.8ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.9apg and 1.2spg.
He has a dual citizenship: Canadian and Lithuanian.
Despite Stauskas' Lithuanian passport, he previously played for the Canadian U19 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Lithuanian team.
#3.Zygimantas Jonusas (200-F-82, currently plays in Italy) managed to help JuveCaserta in a victory in overtime against one of league's weakest teams Air Avellino (3-10) 86-84 in the Italian SerieA in Sunday night's game.
Jonusas recorded 5 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 37 minutes.
JuveCaserta (6-7) is placed tenth in the SerieA.
Jonusas has averaged so far 9.2ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.4spg in the 12 games he played so far.
#4.Gabas Maldunas (203-F-93, currently studies in the States), who plays in the NCAA was not able to help the Dartmouth in their last game. Despite his good performance the Dartmouth was crushed 79-58 on the road by the Boston College.

#6.Ignas Palaima (211-F, currently plays college basketball in the States) was not able to secure a victory for the Milligan College in their game against the Appalachian State University in the AAC. He cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones.

His team was badly defeated by 20 points 71-51 in the AAC.

Gediminas Orelikas (200-G/F-90) will continue his career in Lietuvos Rytas. The forward has agreed on terms of two-year contract with the Vilnius powerhouse.
