It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Triobet. 26 personal fouls committed by Triobet helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of center Arturas Gudaitis (208-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and forward Marius Grigonis (198-94) who added 23 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Martynas Linkevicius (197-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Zalgiris-Sabonio have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Statyba. Triobet at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. Zalgiris-Sabonio is looking forward to face Perlas-MRU (#11) in Vilnius in the next round where they are favorite. Triobet will play at home against Radviliskis (#14) and is hoping to win this game. Very important is a home loss of second ranked Olimpas (20-8) against sixteenth ranked Silute (9-19) on Saturday night. Host Olimpas was defeated by Silute in a tough game in Plunge 82-87. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Olimpas. The winners were led by guard Eivydas Molosciakas (190-93) who scored that evening 25 points and 4 assists and Evaldas Saulys supported him with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Even 27 points (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) by forward Audrius Maneikis (203-84, college: Motlow St. CC) did not help to save the game for Olimpas. Olimpas' coach Alidas Zukauskas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Silute moved-up to fifteenth place. Newly promoted Olimpas keeps the second position with eight games lost. They share it with Dzukija. Silute will play against higher ranked Statyba (#6) in Vilnius in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Olimpas will play at home against the league's second-placed Dzukija (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory. NKL top team - Mazeikiai (22-6) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat eighteenth ranked Nafta Universitetas (5-23) in Klaipeda 93-75. Eigirdas Zukauskas fired 28 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Deividas Anuzis produced 22 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Mazeikiai maintains first position with 22-6 record. Nafta Universitetas lost ninth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Mazeikiai will meet at home Suduva-Mantinga (#4) in the next round. Nafta Universitetas will play against Meresta (#10) in Pakruojis and hope to secure a win.

LSU-Baltai seemed en route to the victory in the third game of the series when they led by 17 points before the fourth frame. But the USA select team responded with a 34:15 in the final period and stole a 96:94 victory at the end. Sarunas Vingelis produced 20 points, while Arunas Sakalauskas added 13 points in the defeat. LSU-Baltai suffered the fourth straight loss on the tour in Tianyao province 77:84. The USA selection used a 24:16 run in the final period to gain another victory. Sarunas Vingelis knocked down 21 points, while Taurantas Tamosiunas (192-PG-92) added 17 points in the loss. The victory finally came in the fifth game of the tour. The Kaunas team rolled to a 101:73 success. Sarunas Vingelis once again topscored for LSU-Baltai providing 23 points. Taurantas Tamosiunas chipped in 20 points for the winning side. LSU-Baltai followed with a 71:69 win in the next encounter. Sarunas Vingelis was a usual contributor with 25 points. Zygimantas Skucas (200-SF-92) delivered had 23 points for the Lithuanian team.

Lietuvos Rytas and Tautvydas Lydeka (208-C/F-83) have agreed on terms of contract extension. The centre signed a new one-year deal with the Vilnius team. Tautvydas Lydeka joined Lietuvos Rytas back in February. He tallied 8.8 points and 5.0 boards per game in LKL. The centre also notched 7.0 points, 3.3 boards and 1.0 assist per game in VTB League.
