There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in NKL.

The game between third ranked Olimpas (23-10) and eighteenth ranked Nafta Universitetas (6-27) was the most important one in the last round on Thursday night. Olimpas was defeated by Nafta Universitetas in a tough game in Klaipeda 83-91. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Olimpas. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-17. But Olimpas won third quarter 26-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 26 personal fouls committed by Olimpas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for point guard Deividas Anuzis (181-92) who led his team to a victory with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Donatas Norkus (196-90) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Julius Kazakauskas (197-90) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds for Olimpas. Nafta Universitetas moved-up to seventeenth place, which they share with Gargzdai. Newly promoted Olimpas keeps the third position with ten games lost. Nafta Universitetas is looking forward to face Gargzdai-Bremena (#17) at home in the next round. Olimpas will play against Zalgiris-Sabonio (#7) in Kaunas and is hoping to win this game.
NKL top team - Mazeikiai (26-7) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifteenth ranked Ezerunas-Karys (10-23) in Moletai 86-55. Rokas Giedraitis (198-92) stepped up and scored 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Eigirdas Zukauskas chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Raimundas Ambrulaitis (199-82) with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Ezerunas-Karys' coach Mindaugas Kildisius gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Mazeikiai maintains first place with 26-7 record. Ezerunas-Karys lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 23 games lost. They share it with Silute. Mazeikiai will play against Triobet (#5) in Jonava in the next round. Ezerunas-Karys will play on the road against Delikatesas (#13) in Joniskis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Sakiai was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Statyba (20-13) played at the court of eighth ranked Zanavykas (20-13). Zanavykas managed to secure a 8-point victory 74-66 on Friday. Edgaras Stanionis nailed 20 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Zanavykas' coach Giedrius Zibenas used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tadas Rinkunas came up with 21 points for Statyba in the defeat. Zanavykas moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Zalgiris-Sabonio and Statyba. Zanavykas will meet at home Birstono (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Statyba will play against the league's second-placed Dzukija (#2) in Alytus and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 33: Suduva-Mantinga beat Perlas-MRU on the road 79-71. Meresta won against Delikatesas on its own court 80-67. Radviliskis managed to outperform Silute in a road game 92-85. Triobet managed to beat Birstono at home 86-76. Zalgiris-Sabonio was defeated by Dzukija on the opponent's court 85-71.

Perlas-MRU - Suduva-Mantinga 71-79

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Suduva-Mantinga (22-11) beat 11th ranked Perlas-MRU (14-19) in Vilnius 79-71 on Friday. Perlas-MRU was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 8-point lead after three quarters before a 25-9 charge of Suduva-Mantinga, which allowed them to win the game. Forward Marius Valukonis (198-88) nailed 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and guard Zilvinas Kuklierius (180-85) accounted for 25 points and 6 rebounds.
