Here is the weekly review of the top performing Lithuanian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Egle Sulciute (190-85, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Spain. She could not help Perfumerias Avenida in their last game. Despite Sulciute's good performance Perfumerias Avenida lost 64-74 on the road to the lower-ranked (#4) Good Angels. She was the second best scorer with 12 points in 28 minutes on the court. It's Sulciute's first season with the team. Sulciute has relatively good stats this year: 10.4ppg, 4.6rpg, 1.7apg, 2FGP: 49.3%, 3FGP: 36.2% and FT: 96.6%(28-29) in the 14 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Lithuanian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Gintare Petronyte (196-89, currently plays in Italy). Petronyte was the major contributor in Taranto's victory against the eighth-ranked C.U.S. Chieti (4-12) crushing them 71-42 in the Italian A1 last Sunday. She recorded 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds (made all of her five free throws). Goldbet Taranto (11-4) is placed fourth in the A1. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Petronyte is currently third on the list of best blockers. She has very reliable stats this season: 13.1ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.1bpg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 67.0%(77-115) and FT: 88.7%. Petronyte is in the roster of the Lithuanian senior national team.

   #3. The Lithuanian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international shooting guard Ausra Bimbaite (179-82, currently plays in Russia). She contributed to a Dynamo Kursk's victory against the eighth-ranked Spartak Noginsk (3-10) 59-50 in the Russian PBL on Sunday night. Bimbaite scored 6 points, made 3 passes and 5 steals in 21 minutes. Dynamo Kursk (10-4) is placed second in the PBL. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Bimbaite is currently fourth on the league's list of most steals with 2.1spg. This year her other stats are: 7.9ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.8apg, 2FGP: 38.7%, 3FGP: 48.8%(21-43) and FT: 88.5% in the 14 games. Bimbaite played for the Lithuanian national team two years ago.

Marina Solopova

   #4. Swingman Marina Solopova (180-90, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TKBL was not able to help Edremit (1-19) in their last game on Sunday. Despite her good performance the bottom-ranked Edremit was crushed 76-49 at home by the higher-ranked Canik Bld (#10). Solopova was the second best scorer with 12 points. She also added 4 rebounds. This season Solopova has relatively solid stats: 12.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.5apg and 1.4spg. She is also Lithuanian national team player.

Fortuna - Suduva 47-82 Suduva marched past Fortuna to seal their Finals birth. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Suduva dominated on the defensive end, holding Fortuna to just 5 points in third quarter and to 14 points in second half. Suduva forced 28 Fortuna turnovers. Suduva - Fortuna 78-59 Suduva rallied past Fortuna in the opener. The game without a history. Suduva led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Fortuna's 24. They outrebounded Fortuna 46-28 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. This week's number one is an international guard Kamile Nacickaite (181-89).
