Belarus fell at 2-1 record after the loss. Lithuania eked out a 15:14 lead after ten minutes of action. The teams traded baskets throughout the second term. Lithuania secured a narrow 35:34 halftime lead. But Belarus finally picked up the tempo in the third term. Maryia Papova (186-PF-94) and Kress gave Belarus a 41:38 lead. Alexandra Tarasava (170-PG-88) soon opened a 7-point lead for Belarus. They entered the fourth frame up by four points 55:51. However Lithuania used an 11:0 run midway through the fourth frame to gain a 64:61 advantage. Visgaudaite gave Lithuania a 71:64 advantage with 11 seconds remaining. Trafimava drained a three-pointer but Kamile Nacickaite (180-G-89, college: Drexel) answered with a free throw to seal the win for Lithuania. Mante Kvederaviciute (180-G-90) had 14 points, while Kamile Nacickaite contributed 11 points for the winning side. Alexandra Tarasava answered with 16 points for Belarus. Maryia Papova chipped in 13 points in the loss.

Homend Antakya bolstered their frontcourt. They landed Lithuanian centre Gintare Petronyte (196-C-89). She is currently playing for Lithuania at 2013 EuroBasket. Last season the centre spent in Italy. She was the member of Goldbet Taranto roster. Gintare Petronyte tallied 12.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game in A1. Czech Republic rejuvenated their 2013 EuroBasket campaign with a key victory over Lithuania. Petra Kulichova (198-C-84) posted 15 points and 7 rebounds to lead the winners at 1-1 record in Group D. Lithuania fell at 0-2 record after the loss. The teams exchanged baskets throughout the opening frame 14:14. But Czech Republic went on a 9:0 run early in the second period to take a 30:16 lead. They dominated every facet of the game at the moment and rallied to a 39:22 halftime lead. Veronika Bortelova (172-G-78) and Hindrakova gave Czech Republic a 20-point advantage early in the third period. They maintained it throughout the reminder of the quarter to enjoy a 53:31 buffer heading into the fourth frame. The margin grew at 24-point mark before Czech Republic allowed their opponents to cut the deficit at 19-point at the end of the game. Veronika Bortelova and Ilona Burgrova (194-C-84, college: S.Carolina) chipped in 13 points apiece for the winners. Gintare Petronyte (196-C-89) responded with 13 points for Lithuania.
