After home loss in Round 1, Lemminkainen managed to beat CAB Madeira in Portugal registering the first EuroCup win this season. Rita Milieskiene (175-G-78) was totally the best player in her team with 28 points and 6 rebounds. Marina Solopova (180-G/F-90) scored 13 and Egle Zygelyte (166-G-84) had 9 pts (7 rebs, 8 as). After home loss in Round 1, Lemminkainen managed to beat CAB Madeira in Portugal registering the first EuroCup win this season. Rita Milieskiene (175-G-78) was totally the best player in her team with 28 points and 6 rebounds. Marina Solopova (180-G/F-90) scored 13 and Egle Zygelyte (166-G-84) had 9 pts (7 rebs, 8 as). For the hosts (0-2), Candice Champion (185-F-87, college: Texas Arlington) responded with double-double, 22 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams were on fire at the beginning. The hosts were slightly better creating 24-20 lead after 10 minutes of play. Visitors responded after that and this time the teams improved their defense. Lemminkainen scored 16 and Madeira had 14 pts in the second frame, but the hosts still held 2-point lead until the half time. Last two quarters belonged to the Lithuanian squad, but the difference was not so big. In exciting finish Candice Champion and her teammates were strong enough to keep their lead and to celebrate valuable 67-69 win. In the next round they will meet Montpellier, also on the road. The Portuguese team will have to look for some other chance in order to grab the first win. That maybe can happen in the next round against MBK Ruzomberok in Slovakia.
TEO Vilnius boosted their roster with addition of Vita Kuktiene (187-F-80). The 29-yer-old forward played for Stade Clermontois Auvergne Basket of France-LFB league. Kuktiene averaging 8.3 points, 3.1 boards and 1.2 assist per game. Kuktiene is well know in TEO. 2005-07 she played this team and averaging 2.4 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game in Euroleague. Kuktiene was Lithuanian National team member of 2001, 2005 and 2006 years.

TTT Riga celebrated the initial win in the Euroleague season. They prevailed against TEO in Vilnius to improve at 1-3 record in Group A. TEO remained winless after four rounds of action. Lisa Willis (183-G/F-84, college: UCLA) scored 23 points and grabbed 6 boards to lead the visitors.

TEO Vilnius - TTT Riga 68:74 TTT Riga celebrated the initial win in the Euroleague season. They prevailed against TEO in Vilnius to improve at 1-3 record in Group A. However Cindy Lima (192-C-81), Lyndra Weaver (185-F-87, college: Virginia) and Lisa Willis helped TTT Riga deny the deficit as the visitors entered the second period ahead by one 24:23. TTT Riga started to get away in the second frame. They went on a 14:2 run midway through the stanza to accumulate a 42:27 advantage. TEO managed to clip the distance to 10 points at halftime 35:45. Lisa Willis opened the second half with back-to-back three-pointers as TTT Riga stretched the lead. Renee Montgomery (170-G-86, agency: LBM Management, college: Connecticut) and Rinkevicite kept hopes alive for TEO as they narrowed the deficit back to 10-point mark with one quarter to go. Renee Montgomery and Rinkeviciute dragged the hosts within 7 midway through the fourth quarter but TTT Riga stayed concentrated. Karklina, Krumberga and Pagrode delivered when it mattered the most as TTT Riga escaped with an important road success at the end. Lyndra Weaver nailed 21 points for the winners. Cindy Lima produced 11 points and 9 boards for TTT Riga. Renee Montgomery responded with 22 points and 10 assists for TEO. Milka Bjelica (193-F-81) delivered 18 points and 10 boards in defeat.
