The most important game in the last round took place in Telsiu between third ranked Telsiai (22-13) and sixth ranked Silute (18-17) on Saturday night. Telsiai was crushed by Silute at home 94-67. The game was mostly controlled by Silute. Telsiai managed to win third quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Silute shot 63.8 percent from the field. Silute outrebounded Telsiai 36-25 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. American guard Brian Wanamaker (185-89, college: Texas Wesleyan) fired 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Modestas Zaunieriunas (185-94) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Silute's coach Robertas Kuncaitis felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Ignas Razutis (185-87) produced 18 points for lost side. Silute maintains sixth position with 18-17 record. Telsiai at the other side keeps the third place with 13 games lost. Silute will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Telsiai will play on the road against Rasai in Raseiniai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Coach Marius Kiltinavicius's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. point guard Mindaugas Stasys (179-86) replied with 22 points and 6 assists for Nafta-Uni.Suduva-Mantinga have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 28-6 record. Nafta-Uni. at the other side keeps the second place with ten games lost. Suduva-Mantinga will play against Vytis (#7) in Sakiai in the next round where they are favorite. Nafta-Uni. will play on the road against Perlas-MRU (#5) in Vilnius and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Gytis Radzevicius had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Giedrius Stankevicius responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Vytis maintains seventh position with 17-18 record. Loser Rasai keeps the fourth place with 14 games lost. Vytis will meet at home league's leader Suduva-Mantinga in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Rasai will play against Telsiai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
A very interesting game took place in Joniskis. It ended with only one-point home defeat of 10th ranked Delikatesas (14-21) to thirteenth ranked Ezerunas-Karys (10-25) 92-91 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Delikatesas. Laurynas Kirlys notched 25 points to lead the effort. Ezerunas-Karys have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain thirteenth position with 10-25 record. Delikatesas at the other side keeps the tenth place with 21 games lost. Ezerunas-Karys will have a break next round.

In the last two games of round 10 bottom-ranked Petrochema was defeated by KTU in Kaunas 70-62. Palanga was beaten by Zalgiris II at home 79-84.

Nafta-Uni. - Suduva-Mantinga 70-94

The guests trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 30-17 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Vytis outrebounded Rasai 43-31 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gytis Radzevicius (195-95) had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Paulius Beliavicius (194-88) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Vytis players scored in double figures. At the losing side Giedrius Stankevicius (205-96) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Sarunas Vingelis (191-89) scored 20 points. There was no surprise in Kaunas where 14th ranked Petrochema (8-27) was defeated by twelfth ranked KTU (13-21) 70-62. Petrochema was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 38-29 second half run of KTU. They made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. KTU outrebounded Petrochema 30-17 including 24 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Deividas Poguzinskas (203-95, college: High School) notched 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Airidas Giedraitis (197-95) supported him with 17 points. KTU's coach Vytautas Pliauga allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 13 points by point guard Lukas Grabauskas (192-95) did not help to save the game for Petrochema. Forward Mykolas Dieninis (197-97) added 15 points for lost side. Four Petrochema players scored in double figures. KTU moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Mazeikiai. Petrochema lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 27 lost games. KTU's next round opponent will be higher ranked Delikatesas (#10) in Joniskis and it may be quite challenging game. Petrochema will play at home against Zalgiris II (#8) and hope to win that game.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Zalgiris II's (19-15) road victory over 9th ranked Palanga (16-19) 84-79. The guests were already 15 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 31-21 Palanga's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 84-79 at the end of the game. Zalgiris II players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Guard Kristupas Zemaitis (192-96) notched 24 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and power forward Laurynas Birutis (213-97) supported him with 24 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field).
