There will be only one (last) round of the Second Stage in NKL.

Top ranked Suduva-Mantinga (29-8) recorded its eighth loss in Raseiniai on Thursday night. Visitors were rolled over by fourth ranked Rasai (23-14) 85-64. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-64. Rasai looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Tomas Galeckas (183-94) fired 23 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Forward Andrius Aleksandrovas (197-86) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Kinu Rochford (195-90, college: Fair Dickinson) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Suduva-Mantinga's coach Marius Kiltinavicius gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Rasai have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Telsiai. Suduva-Mantinga at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost. Rasai is looking forward to face Silute (#7) on the road in the next round. Suduva-Mantinga will play against Telsiai (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Telsiu. Third ranked Telsiai faced their biggest opponent Nafta-Uni.. Host Telsiai (23-14) defeated guests from Klaipeda (25-13) 66-57. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Mindaugas Norkus (200-85) who helped to win the game recording 14 points. Tomas Domarkas contributed with 10 points and 5 assists for the winners. point guard Deividas Anuzis (182-92) answered with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for Nafta-Uni.Telsiai maintains third place with 23-14 record having just one point less than leader Suduva-Mantinga, which they share with Rasai. Nafta-Uni. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the second position with 13 games lost. Telsiai will play against league's leader Suduva-Mantinga in Marijampole in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nafta-Uni. will have a break next round.

However their fans expected easier game. Rytis Biliartas stepped up and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. At the losing side Ricardas Verbickas responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Mazeikiai moved-up to eleventh place. Petrochema lost sixth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 30 lost games. Mazeikiai will meet at home Ezerunas-Karys (#13) in the next round. Petrochema will have a break next round.
Tenth-ranked Delikatesas (15-22) made lots of trouble for eighth ranked Zalgiris II (22-15) in Kaunas. Zalgiris II managed to secure only three-point victory 83-80. However their fans expected easier game. Kristupas Zemaitis nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists for the winning side. Zalgiris II have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain eighth place with 22-15 record. Delikatesas at the other side keeps the tenth position with 22 games lost. Zalgiris II's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kaunas KTU.

In the last two games of round 13 Silute was crushed by Perlas-MRU in Vilnius 84-64. Ezerunas-Karys beat KTU at home 73-63.

Fourteenth-ranked Petrochema (8-30) made lots of trouble for twelfth ranked Mazeikiai (14-23) in Jonava on Friday. The visitors from Mazeikiai managed to secure only two-point victory 82-80. However their fans expected easier game. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 2 points. Mazeikiai made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Forward Rytis Biliartas (200-91) stepped up and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and point guard Ernestas Bruzas (183-96) chipped in 22 points and 4 assists. Perlas-MRU - Silute 84-64

There was no surprise in Vilnius where 7th ranked Silute (18-19) was crushed by fifth ranked Perlas-MRU (21-16) 84-64. The game without a history. Perlas-MRU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Perlas-MRU outrebounded Silute 37-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Guard Margiris Normantas (193-96) nailed 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and guard Karolis Giedraitis (193-98) accounted for 14 points. American guard Brian Wanamaker (185-89, college: Texas Wesleyan) came up with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and center Aurelijus Pukelis (205-94) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Silute in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Perlas-MRU maintains fifth place with 21-16 record. Silute at the other side keeps the seventh position with 19 games lost. Perlas-MRU's next round opponent will be Vytis (#6) in Sakiai. Silute will play at home against Rasai and hope to win that game.

There was a small surprise in Moletai where thirteenth ranked Ezerunas-Karys (12-25) defeated 11th ranked KTU (13-24) 73-63. KTU was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 38-27 second half run of Ezerunas-Karys. They also forced 21 KTU turnovers. Forward Raimundas Ambrulaitis (198-82) nailed 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and guard Marius Pociukonis (189-82) accounted for 13 points and 5 assists. Point guard Martynas Zigmantavicius (187-96) came up with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Medas Kuprijanovas (195-96) added 11 points respectively for KTU in the defeat. KTU's coach Vytautas Pliauga rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ezerunas-Karys have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain thirteenth place with 12-25 record. KTU lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with 24 games lost. Ezerunas-Karys' next round opponent will be higher ranked Mazeikiai (#11) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

The Regular Season in LKL just ended. Leader Zalgiris delivered the 33th win on Wednesday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Juventus (19-17) 90-76 in Kaunas.
