Drew Gordon
There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in LKL.

An interesting game for Lietuvos rytas (25-9) which hosted in Vilnius one of their biggest challengers Lietkabelis (23-11). Second ranked Lietuvos rytas had an easy win 92-60. The game without a history. Lietuvos rytas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Drew Gordon (205-90, college: N.Mexico) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds. International power forward Arturas Gudaitis (211-93) contributed with 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. International guard Zygimantas Janavicius (192-89, agency: Interperformances) replied with 10 points for Lietkabelis. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lietuvos rytas maintains second position with 25-9 record having six points less than leader Zalgiris. Lietkabelis at the other side keeps the third place with 11 games lost. Lietuvos rytas are looking forward to face league's leader Zalgiris in Kaunas in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lietkabelis will play at home against P.Zvaigzdes and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
LKL top team - Zalgiris (31-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Siauliai (6-28) 93-71. German power forward Isaiah Hartenstein (211-98) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Edgaras Ulanovas chipped in 14 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side swingman Tomas Lekunas (201-93) responded with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zalgiris have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 31-3 record. Siauliai at the other side stay dead last with 28 lost games. Zalgiris will play against league's second-placed Lietuvos rytas in Vilnius in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Siauliai will play at home against Vytautas (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Pasvalys was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Neptunas (19-15) played at the court of 7th ranked P.Zvaigzdes (15-19). Neptunas defeated P.Zvaigzdes 93-81 on Thursday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of P.Zvaigzdes. Mindaugas Kacinas notched 16 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 15 points and 4 assists by Osvaldas Olisevicius did not help to save the game for P.Zvaigzdes. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Neptunas maintains fourth position with 19-15 record. Loser P.Zvaigzdes keeps the seventh place with 19 games lost. Neptunas will meet at home Dzukija (#8) in the next round. P.Zvaigzdes will play against Lietkabelis in Panevezys and hope to secure a win.
