    Amicale - Musel Pikes 79-74

    Amicale celebrated Total League title. They outgunned Musel Pikes in the decisive third game of the championship series to lift the trophy. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Musel Pikes won fourth quarter 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Musel Pikes 46-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. Amicale looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Amicale made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Billy McDaniel (199-84, college: Ark.-Monticello) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. The former international Alex Laurent (198-93, agency: Court Side) helped adding 15 points and 16 rebounds. Four Amicale players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St.) with 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and the other American import power forward Clancy Rugg (203-91, college: Vermont, agency: Court Side) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds.

    Amicale Steinsel celebrate Cup title defeating Musel Pikes 74-68. Trailing 9-17 at the end of the first period, Amicale needed a strong 23-16 run in the second frame. Moreover the winners closed the game with a massive 25-16 surge to seal the first trophy of year 2017.
    Samy Picard (195-PF-88) top-scored for the winners with 29 points and 10 rebounds to be named MVP of the game. Billy McDaniel (199-F/C-84, college: Ark.-Monticello) and Shavon Coleman (196-F-92, college: LSU, agency: Court Side) followed him with 16 points apiece. Jarmar Gulley (196-F/G-91, college: Missouri St.) replied with 22 points and 11 boards in the losing effort. Jean Kox (196-F-90) and Clancy Rugg (203-F/C-91, college: Vermont, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) ended up with 16 points each in a loss.
