Contern made quick work of their hosts bumping them hard in the 1st peroid to take an 11 point lead. The rest of the game was fairly even. Contern is now tied with T71, Etzella and Amicale with a 5-1 record at the top of the DBBL. Musel Pikes fell to 6th place with the loss and must face T71 in Dudelange next on Saturday, November 7th. Contern faces off with Amicale in Steinsel also on Saturday.

Etzella is the hottest team in the DBBL winning now 5 in a row!!! They seem to have found their rhythm and have a lot of momentum building up. Racing had no chance despite 36 points from Corey Largent (200-F-80, college: W.Carolina). Etzella plays host to Soleuvre on Sunday, November 8th and Racing will entertain Residence in a battle of the bottom on November 7th.

T71 ran away with another victory on the road last weekend with a 35 point whipping of Nitia. With the loss, Nitia stays in the 8th slot in the DBBL as Soleuvre and Racing are still looking for their first taste of victory. With team defense, T71 was able to keep Billy McDaniel (201-F/C-84, agency: 540 Sports, college: Ark.-Monticello) at bay, holding him to 19 points. Tom Schumacher had 17, Martin Rajniak 14 and Denell Stephens (192-G-86, agency: ZAG Advocates, college: Slippery Rock) notched 14. Nitia took more shots than T71, but T71 took better shots when needed. T71 dominated heavily the first 3 quarters. Nitia came back to life in the 4th period but it was too late. The game was over and T71 won 62-97. Nitia goes to Sparta and T71 hosts Musel Pikes this coming Saturday evening.
