American Christine Fisher (183-F/C-83) had an amazing evening in the last round for Musel Pikes and that's her to receive a Player of the Week award for round 1 (Second Stage).
The 28-year old power forward had a double-double of 20 points and fifteen rebounds, while her team crushed Etzella (17-3) with 16-point margin 76-60. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Musel Pikes maintains the 3rd position in Luxembourg Diekirch League. They are still close to the very top. Musel Pikes would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 17-3 record. Fisher has many years of experience at Musel Pikes, through which he has constantly improved. Fisher has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 11.9rpg) and averages solid 3.1spg and 57.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old American forward Lamisha Augustine (186-F-82, agency: LBM Management) of second-ranked Basket Esch. Augustine impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds. Of course she lead Basket Esch to another comfortable win 89-71 over Residence (12-8) being unquestionably team leader. The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Augustine is a newcomer at Basket Esch and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.3ppg (#6). She also registered 12.9 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Basket Esch's star - Slovakian Agnesa Szaboova (183-G/F-75). Szaboova scored 26 points. She was another key player of Basket Esch, helping her team with a 89-71 easy win against #4 ranked Residence in a game of the week. Basket Esch is closer and closer to the top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 17-3 record is not that bad... Szaboova has a very solid season. In 17 games in Luxembourg she scored 14.5ppg. She also has 6.9rpg and FGP: 55.1%.

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
