American power forward Christine Fisher (183-F/C-83) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Musel Pikes, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4 (Second Stage).
The 28-year old player had a double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds, while her team crushed Basket Esch (#3, 18-5) with 24-point margin 83-59. Musel Pikes is placed at 2nd position in Luxembourg Diekirch League. They are still close to the very top. Musel Pikes would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 19-4 record. In the team's last game Fisher had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Musel Pikes, through which he has constantly improved. Christine Fisher has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (9th best: 17.5ppg), rebounds (8th best: 11.5rpg) and averages impressive 1.1bpg,2.7spg and 60.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 24-year old American Bridget Yoerger (180-F-87, agency: LBM Management) of Racing. Yoerger had a very good evening with a double-double of 35 points and 24 rebounds. Of course she lead Racing to another comfortable win outscoring Telstar (#-2, 0-21) 101-79. This victory allowed Racing to move up to -3th position in 7-10 places. 16 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Racing managed to get this Second Stage. Yoerger is a newcomer at Racing, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.3ppg (#2). Her other stats are also decent: 14.8rpg and 3.6apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Amanda Stowe (186-F/C-79) of AB Contern (#6). Stowe got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. She went also for eighteen rebounds . Despite Stowe's great performance AB Contern lost 62-74 to the higher-ranked Etzella (#1, 19-4). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of AB Contern ranking at the top of 1-6 places, however are very questionable as they have already lost 12 games, recording just eleven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Stowe could help AB Contern to bring them higher in the standings. Stowe has a great season in Luxembourg. After 22 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.7ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 13.5rpg (5th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Meghan Gardler (183-F-88) of Amicale - 32 points and 21 rebounds
5. Lamisha Augustine (186-F-82) of Basket Esch - 19 points, 17 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Ashley Jones (185-F) of Etzella - 21 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Raelyn Prince (191-F-88) of Heffingen - 11 points, 20 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Lena Hetto (184-F-93) of Heffingen - 27 points and 9 rebounds
9. Maggie McKemie (185-F) of Telstar - 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Dale-Marie Cumberbatch (180-F-88) of Telstar - 27 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
