There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with loss of the undefeated team and favorites losing the games.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Etzella (20-5) in Ettelbruck on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by Musel Pikes (21-4) 78-59. It was a key game for the top position in League as both teams had the same 20-4 record before this meeting. The game without a history. Musel Pikes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Christine Fisher (183-F/C-83) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. French Magaly Meynadier (170-91) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Ashley Jones (185, college: Michigan) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Defending champion keeps a position of League leader. Etzella at the other side dropped to the second place with five games lost. Musel Pikes are looking forward to face Residence (#4) in Bereldange in the next round. Etzella will play on the road against Basket Esch and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Basket Esch (19-6) against fifth ranked T71 Dudelange (12-13) on Saturday night. Host Basket Esch was defeated by T71 Dudelange in a tough game in Esch 70-74. It was a good game for American guard Cerie Mosgrove (182-88, college: Massachusetts) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds. Renata Adamczyk contributed with 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward Lamisha Augustine (186-82, college: San Jose St., agency: LBM Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds for Basket Esch. T71 Dudelange maintains fifth position in League with 12-13 record. Basket Esch at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. T71 Dudelange will play against AB Contern (#6) at home in the next round. Basket Esch will play against the league's second-placed Etzella in Ettelbruck and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Hesperange. Second ranked Heffingen faced 4th ranked Telstar. Guests from Heffingen (9-14) defeated host Telstar (0-23) 72-60. Heffingen maintains second position in League with 9-14 record behind leader Amicale. Newly promoted Telstar still closes the standings with 23 games lost. Heffingen will meet league's leader Amicale in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Telstar will play against Racing in Luxembourg and hopes to get finally their first victory.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Luxembourg. First ranked Amicale faced 3rd ranked Racing. Guests from Steinsel (10-13) defeated host Racing (6-17) 91-75. Amicale maintains first position in League with 10-13 record. Racing at the other side keeps the third place with 17 games lost. Amicale's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Heffingen at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Racing will play against Telstar in Hesperange and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Contern was also quite interesting. 4th ranked Residence (12-13) played at the court of sixth ranked AB Contern (12-13). AB Contern defeated Residence 69-58 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Amanda Stowe who had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds (went 14 for 14 at the free throw line !!!). Residence's coach Luois Wennig rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. AB Contern maintains sixth position in League with 12-13 record. AB Contern will face higher ranked T71 Dudelange (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Residence will play against the league's leader Musel Pikes in Stadrbredimus.

The game in Contern was also quite interesting. 4th ranked Residence (12-13) played at the court of sixth ranked AB Contern (12-13). AB Contern defeated Residence 69-58 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. AB Contern made 21-of-22 free shots (95.5 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Amanda Stowe (186-79, college: Wisc.-Green Bay) who had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds (went 14 for 14 at the free throw line !!!). The former international forward Florence Welsch (174-91) chipped in 9 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Addie Micir (182-88, college: Princeton) who recorded 20 points and 7 rebounds and international guard Jill Bausch (176-87) added 14 points respectively. Residence's coach Luois Wennig rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. AB Contern maintains sixth position in League with 12-13 record. AB Contern will face higher ranked T71 Dudelange (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Residence will play against the league's leader Musel Pikes in Stadrbredimus.
