Basket Esch - T71 Dudelange 67:58

Basket Esch claimed Diekirch League title. They shot down T71 Dudelange in the second game of the championship series to complete the sweep. Basket Esch returned the title they last won in 2008.
T71 Dudelange marked their high ambitions early in the encounter. They outgunned Basket Esch for an 8-point lead after ten minutes. But the hosts regained composure in the second quarter. They dropped 29 points to take a 7-point lead at halftime 42:35. Basket Esch stressed defence in the third term limiting the visitors to 10 points. It allowed the home team to enjoy an 8-point margin heading into the fourth frame. Basket Esch kept their opponents at bay throughout the final stanza as they rallied to the victory. Agnesa Szaboova (183-G/F-75) scored 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the winners. Katie Donovan (182-F/G-82) added 12 points for Basket Esch. Rachel Wagener (168-G-86) answered with 18 points for T71 Dudelange. Cerie Mosgrove (182-G-88, college: Massachusetts) had 14 points in the loss.

Tabb's double-double lands him (Second Stage) Player of the Week award - 3 hours ago
Swingman Ladarius Tabb (196-G/F) put on an amazing game in the last round for Arantia and receives a Player of the Week award for round 2 (Second Stage). He had a double-double of 37 points and 22 rebounds, while his team beat Basket Esch (#1, 10-11) 89-84. Arantia maintains the 3rd position in their group in Luxembourg league. There were just three rounds played in Second Stage of Total League and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. The game between T71 (12-9) and Sparta (10-11) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. T71 was defeated by Sparta in Bertrange 89-102. The game without a history. Tarvin Gaines (ex Racing) signs at Blumenau - 1 day ago
Basquete Blumenau/APAB (Liga Ouro) landed 26-year old American forward Tarvin Gaines (198-100kg-91, college: Jacksonville State). He played most recently at Racing in Luxembourg N2 league.
Among other achievements Gaines received All-MPBA 2nd Team award in 2015.
He has played previously for another Brazilian team Liga Sorocaba
