Luxembourg sent Hungary to the last spot in Sofia as they beat them in the last game for both teams. Luxembourg outscored Hungary 94:86 at the Classification Game for 17th to 18th Place. Luxembourg took 16:14 after the first period and added 28:27 at the second period. Tom Steffen (194-F-93) and Bellwald scored for 55:49 and the latter also brought 64:58. Hungary started to play better in the end of the frame and grabbed 69:68 at the end of the quarter. Krisztian Tursics (185-G-92) and Mate Meszaros (192-G/F-92) gave Hungary 73:70 advantage, but Hungary could not win. Luxembourg won the quarter 26-17 and clinched the 17 places in Sofia. Louis Arendt (187-F/G-93) top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Max Schmit (182-PG-92) netted 15. Tom Steffen delivered 13 points in a winning effort. Mate Meszaros finished the game with high 27 points and Peter Jakab (187-G-93) delivered 17. Martin Somenek (203-PF-93) ended up with 15, whilst Krisztian Tursics notched 8.

Devin Taylor has just graduated from Slippery Rock University this year. He tallied 14.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in his senior season. He made it into All-PSAC West Division 1st Team in both 2012 and 2013. Devin Taylor also made it into NABC Division II All-Atlantic Region 2nd Team in 2013. [read more]
