Monica Gibbs (178-G) signed a deal with Amicale Steinsel. She will replace Bianca Vescan (186-C-78) on the squad. The Romanian player got injured in the third round game against Basket Esch. Monica Gibbs just graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio. The guard averaged 15.6 points, 9.4 boards and 6.7 assists per game in her senior season. Katie Donovan (183-F-82) top-scored with 25 points for Etzella. Contern cruised past Grengewald 89:58. Amanda Stowe (186-F/C-79, college: Wisc.-Green Bay) fired 32 points in the win. Jill Martin (185-F/C-85, college: Drake) had 26 points for Grengewald as they slipped at 0-2.
