Total League is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 9 rounds left.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Luxembourg. Third ranked host Contern (7-2) defeated 4th placed Etzella (6-3) 80-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Etzella. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Contern made 9 blocks. American guard Jesse Morgan (196-91, college: Temple) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Manny Atkins (198-91, college: Georgia St.) chipped in 17 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. The best for the losing side was Canadian power forward Billy McNutt (203-85) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 19 rebounds. Contern keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Amicale and Musel Pikes. Etzella at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. Contern is looking forward to face Basket Esch (#5) on the road in the next round. Etzella will play against Bascharage in Kaerjeng and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Total League top team - Musel Pikes (7-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Bascharage (0-9) in Stadrbredimus 92-71. American power forward Clancy Rugg (203-91, college: Vermont, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Jarmar Gulley accounted for 18 points and 10 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). American forward Ishmael Hollis (203-92, college: N.Georgia) came up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds for Bascharage in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Musel Pikes have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-2 record, which they share with Contern and Amicale. Bascharage at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. Musel Pikes will play against Residence (#8) in Bereldange in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bascharage will play at home against Etzella and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Bertrange was also quite interesting. Second ranked Amicale (7-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Sparta (4-5). Amicale defeated Sparta 89-78 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Billy McDaniel who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Contern and Musel Pikes. Sparta lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. Amicale will meet T71 (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sparta will play against Arantia in Larochette and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
