Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The most exciting game of round 11 in the Total League took place in Bertrange. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Basket Esch (6-5) to sixth ranked Sparta (6-5) 65-64 in the game for the fifth place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Basket Esch. The best player for the winners was American forward Titus Robinson (201-90, college: Buffalo) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks. His fellow American import forward Brad Reese (200-88, college: Texas Tech) chipped in 23 points and 9 rebounds. American swingman Jermont Horton (198-84, college: Rutgers-Newark) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the guests. Sparta moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Basket Esch. Sparta is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Bascharage (#10) in Kaerjeng in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Basket Esch will play at home against the league's second-placed Amicale (#2) and is hoping to win this game.
Leader Musel Pikes delivered the ninth victory. This time they beat 7th ranked T71 (5-6) 84-69 in Stadrbredimus. American swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Clancy Rugg contributed with 16 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Cory Johnson (202-88, college: Valparaiso) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for T71. Musel Pikes (9-2) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place, which they share with Amicale. T71 lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with six games lost. Musel Pikes will play against Arantia (#9) in Larochette in the next round and are hoping to win another game. T71 will play at home against Etzella and hopes to get back on the winning track.

It was a great evening for Manny Atkins who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Ishmael Hollis responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Contern maintains third place with 8-3 record behind leader Musel Pikes, which they share with Etzella. Bascharage lost their eleventh game in a row. They still close the standings with 11 games lost. Contern will meet Residence (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Bascharage will play against Sparta and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 11 Residence was defeated by Etzella in Ettelbruck 87-80. Amicale smashed Arantia at home 99-78.
The best stats of 11th round was 28 points and 11 rebounds by Billy McNutt of Etzella.

Musel Pikes - T71 84-69

Leader Musel Pikes delivered the ninth victory. This time they beat 7th ranked T71 (5-6) 84-69 in Stadrbredimus. It looked good early as T71 took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Musel Pikes had a 15-11 second period charge getting the lead and T71 was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-84. American swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import power forward Clancy Rugg (203-91, college: Vermont, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Four Musel Pikes players scored in double figures. American power forward Cory Johnson (202-88, college: Valparaiso) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and international point guard Tom Schumacher (190-87) added 26 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in the effort for T71. Musel Pikes (9-2) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place, which they share with Amicale. T71 lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with six games lost. Musel Pikes will play against Arantia (#9) in Larochette in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Etzella - Residence 87-80

There was no surprise in Ettelbruck where 8th ranked Residence (3-8) was defeated by fourth ranked Etzella (8-3) 87-80 on Saturday. Etzella outrebounded Residence 37-26 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Canadian power forward Billy McNutt (203-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. American power forward Derrick Barden (196-92, college: N.Colorado) helped adding 25 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Etzella's coach Jan Enjebo used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Everage Richardson (191-85, college: Co.Carolina) responded with 28 points and American guard Jesse Reed (196, college: American) scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Residence players scored in double figures. Etzella moved-up to third place, which they share with Contern. Residence at the other side keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Etzella will meet T71 (#7) in the next round. Residence will play against Contern and hope to secure a win.

Contern - Bascharage 108-64

Bottom-ranked Bascharage (0-11) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 108-64 loss to third ranked Contern (8-3) in Luxembourg on Saturday evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Bascharage's 30. Contern forced 19 Bascharage turnovers and outrebounded them 46-24 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Bascharage's players. It was a great evening for American swingman Manny Atkins (198-91, college: Georgia St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. The former international swingman Rene Wolzfeld (194-91) helped adding 21 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Ishmael Hollis (203-92, college: N.Georgia) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Trey Zeigler (196-91, college: TCU) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Amicale - Arantia 99-78

No shocking result in a game in Steinsel where second ranked Amicale (9-2) smashed 9th ranked Arantia (1-10) 99-78 on Saturday. They outrebounded Arantia 45-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. Amicale looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Arantia's players. It was a great evening for American forward Shavon Coleman (196-92, college: LSU, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 24 rebounds. The former international Samy Picard (195-88) helped adding 20 points. Four Amicale players scored in double figures. Amicale's coach Ken Diederich felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman Corday Sims (196-91, college: Peru St.) responded with 36 points (!!!) and the other American import forward Lee Fisher (198-89, college: Chicago St.) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. The victory was the third consecutive win for Amicale. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Musel Pikes. Arantia lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth place with ten games lost. Amicale will meet Basket Esch (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Arantia will play against the league's leader Musel Pikes and hope to win that game.

The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with change at the leadership position and favorites losing the games.
